Saudi Arabia has unveiled a massive new initiative: a $50-billion futuristic sports city covering 200 km². Named Sports Revolution City, the project aims to become the world’s premier hub for international competitions, elite athletic performance and sports technology.

The mega-city will feature 40 stadiums, a fully equipped Olympic-level arena, cutting-edge training centers, a university campus and a dedicated esports district. Saudi officials say the city will run entirely on renewable energy and will set “a new global standard for athletic innovation.”

This move aligns with Saudi Arabia’s ongoing strategy to position itself as a sports superpower after major investments in football, Formula 1, golf and boxing. If completed by 2032, Sports Revolution City could reshape the global sports landscape for decades to come.
