Israel Strikes Kill Three Palestinians in Khan Younis
Three Palestinians Killed in Gaza
In southern Gaza, three Palestinians were killed following an attack carried out by an Israeli drone in Khan Younis, marking the latest violation of the ceasefire established in October, according to local sources. The incident occurred on Monday, as Israeli armed forces conducted airstrikes and shelling in various parts of the enclave on the same day.
The victims were identified as Wissam Abdullah Salem al-Amour, Mahmoud Subhi Breika, and Atef Samir al-Bayouk. Additionally, a Palestinian woman was injured by Israeli gunfire in the al-Batn al-Sameen area. Since the onset of the war in October 2023, the Israeli army has reportedly killed over 71,400 individuals, predominantly women and children, and has injured over 171,000. Since the commencement of the ceasefire on October 10, repeated violations have been documented, with the Gaza Ministry of Health confirming that over 440 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,200 injured.
The Gaza Interior Ministry also announced that the police chief of Khan Younis, Lieutenant Colonel Mahmoud Al-Astal, was killed by gunfire from a vehicle that fled the scene of the incident. Security authorities have launched an investigation and suspect the involvement of an anti-Hamas militia collaborating with the Israeli army.
