Timothée Chalamet emerged as one of the major winners at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, where he was honored for his role in the musical comedy Marty Supreme. At the age of 30, he managed to beat out Leonardo DiCaprio and George Clooney, securing the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
Although DiCaprio missed out on the award, his film One Battle After Another took home the most trophies, including Best Comedy or Musical and Best Director. Irish actress Jessie Buckley won the award for Best Actress in a Drama for her role in Hamnet, which also won the award for Best Drama Film.

On the red carpet, Chalamet expressed his gratitude, stating: "I feel honored to be surrounded by so much talent. While I left this ceremony without an award, I realized moments like these make this moment even sweeter."
In another part of the ceremony, Jessie Buckley remarked that her award is "a true honor," highlighting the diversity of the team behind the film Hamnet.

Teyana Taylor won the award for Best Supporting Actress, while Stellan Skarsgård was recognized as the Best Supporting Actor. Rose Byrne was named Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical, and the award for Best Animated Film went to KPop Demon Hunters.
