Four Men Rescued from Boat at South African Dam
Incident at Grootdraai Dam in South Africa
Images captured during the rescue of four men who spent hours hanging precariously from the edge of a 40-meter dam in South Africa have emerged. Rescuers from the National Sea Rescue Institute (NRSI) arrived at Grootdraai Dam in Mpumalanga on Monday after being informed that a boat had experienced a mechanical failure, subsequently drifting towards the dam's edge. The NRSI credited its staff for their swift actions, opening sluice gates to prevent the boat from being swept away by the powerful current. Fortunately, it appears that the men did not suffer any injuries.
