Innovation in EEG Technology

Research in EEG could provide fascinating insights into extrasensory perception, but we won't be relying on them. However, if you're interested in reading EEG data and utilizing an ESP32, Cerelog-ESP-EEG could be the perfect project for you. This commercial project features an 8-channel biosensor board suitable for EEG, EMG, ECG studies, and brain-computer interfaces.

The company behind this device stated, "We love the hacker community! We explicitly grant permission for personal and educational use." However, they request that the constructed boards are not sold and provide the necessary schematics but do not include the printed circuit board layout. This requirement is understandable, although it's presumed that achieving satisfactory results will require knowledge of how to create sensitive circuits.

The consortium offers the schematics and source firmware. It is also noted that users might need to modify the firmware to change modules, adjust gain, or enable haptic feedback, among other functions. On the application level, the device is compatible with Lab Streaming Layer, and the existence of an OpenBCI version allows communication with the board.
