Colombia Prepares for a Possible Refugee Crisis

Cucuta, Colombia – Colombia is bracing for a potential refugee crisis following American strikes in Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Nicolas Maduro on Saturday. Defense Minister Pedro Sanchez announced on Sunday the deployment of 30,000 soldiers to the border to bolster security, as the country instituted emergency measures to support refugees.
