Ethereum has recorded a significant increase in the number of active addresses, exceeding 791,000, according to data from Nansen. This performance occurred as daily transaction costs reached new lows, averaging just $0.15 per transaction. A year ago, these fees were approximately $11.

Following a series of upgrades in 2022, the Ethereum network has demonstrated efficiency, with a 71% increase in active addresses compared to last year. Additionally, 2.1 million transactions were recorded in a single day, marking a historic record.

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, noted the necessity for the network to become robust enough to allow developers to withdraw safely. This involves creating applications that do not rely on constant updates and maintaining features that ensure resilience against future challenges.
