Stunning footage captured by Spanish skier Ares Masip reveals the moment she and her dog, Cim, were caught in an avalanche on the Pic de l'Hortell mountain in Andorra. Masip was skiing on the slopes when she was unexpectedly engulfed by snow.

"Today was a shock and a valuable personal lesson," Masip stated on Instagram, noting that she was familiar with the area and believed she was safe. "It's important to remember that a zero-risk scenario simply does not exist," she added.
